Hey friend 🖐
It's only been one week since I last wrote one of these posts, but I feel like so much has changed around here!
First up - All of our kids are in school. This may seem trivial, but Lucas started half day pre-school on Wednesday and it's the first time he has been away from me at all during the week. It feels so strange!
Not only does it feel strange, but Lucas is totally carrying himself differently too, er maybe I'm just looking into it too much, but I swear he seems like he has grown up so much just in the past few days.

As if preschool wasn't exciting enough, I also finally decided to write a cookbook!
I've had this idea for awhile now, but kept putting it off. I had so many excuses as to why it would never work out ... not the least of which is that I have only been blogging for a little over 8 months, I have no publisher and my social following isn't nearly close to that of the big name cookbook authors.
But, if there is one thing that starting this blog has taught me, it's that there is no time like the present to start working on what you want. I also realized that most of my hesitation came from a fear of failure.
What if it's terrible? What if I never get a publisher? What if no one buys it?
These (plus SO many more) thoughts were going through my mind, and still are from time to time. But really what's the worst that can happen?
So, you can expect to see my first cookbook sometime in the next year! It will be full of low carb and low sugar recipes geared toward kids and families!
I came up with the idea this past summer, when I was really struggling to find a wide variety of keto friendly foods that my kids would enjoy.
I will definitely keep you posted on the process - and I also would love to know what recipes you, or more importantly, your kids would like to see in the cookbook so let me know down in the comments below!

I just found your blog. My daughter and I have recently converted to Keto and are still learning and experimenting. However, I believe your weekly menus will help us as we are not creative and are tired of eating the same ol recipes over and over again. Thank you for time, effort and knowledge you have put into this in order for people like us to enjoy and be successful on this Keto journey.
