Nuts are a great and portable snack for anyone eating a Keto diet. They are low in carbs, high in fat and most carry a decent amount of protein so they will help to keep you full for a long time.
Beware of hidden sugars in some nuts, and make sure to check the labels. Especially flavored nut varieties. Also, watch your serving size so you don’t inadvertently go over your macros.
Cheese is a great Keto snack option. It can be a great source of fat, just be sure to avoid “low-fat” or “fat-free” varieties. Walmart has tons of cheese options so there will surely be something to suit your tastebuds!
Cheese does need to be stored under refrigeration, so if you don’t plan on eating it immediately and won’t have access to a fridge or cooler – it may not be your best option.

I was super excited to see pre-cooked (and peeled) hard-boiled eggs on my last Walmart run. These make an excellent snack on the go and are available in single-serving packages.
Just like with the cheese, make sure that you will have access to a fridge or cooler to store these eggs until you are ready to eat them.
You can find pre-cooked hard-boiled eggs next to the other eggs, and also in the deli near the prepared salads and sandwiches.
Pickles are a great Keto snack option. Not only are they deliciously crunchy, but they also provide some key electrolytes that are important for combating the dreaded Keto flu.
Most varieties of dill pickles are fine for Keto, but be sure to read labels and watch for added sugar.
Most Walmart stores sell pickles in single-serving packs, as well as large jars. Most brands require refrigeration after opening, so if this won’t be an option for you, you may want to stick with the single-serving packs.
You might be surprised to learn that chocolate can have a place in the Keto diet.
Be sure to stick with super dark chocolate (75% or higher is usually best) or a sugar-free variety. If you are going with sugar-free I recommend sticking with one that is sweetened with stevia or erythritol.
Olives are mostly made up of healthy fats, plus they are low in carbs and calories making them a great snack option that requires no preparation.
Just like with the pickles, olives are sold in single-serving packs as well as large jars and the jars will need to be refrigerated once they are opened.
Meat and Cheese Rolls
These meat and cheese rolls usually come with pepperoni, salami, and/or Proscuitto wrapped around a mozzarella cheese stick. One or two make a great snack, or have a couple more for a complete meal!
