    This Weeks Menu - February 19, 2018

    Is it just me or are these posts getting later and later??

    If you read my post last week, or if you follow me on social media, then you know I spent the weekend with my family at the center for courageous kids. It was a special weekend "camp" just for families affected by congenital heart defects.

    We had an amazing time - but to say I'm tired is a massive understatement! I shared a few pics from our time there on Instagram and Facebook, but in case you missed them check it out below!

    What a great weekend! Despite the cold and rainy weather on Saturday, we had SO much fun! Trenton and Lucas LOVED riding the horses while Eli dominated rock climbing and archery 🏹 🐴 I totally slacked on the picture taking, but these are a few that I was able to snap.

    And if you are within a driving distance to the Nashville area then you need to know about the center for courageous kids! It's such an amazing place, so be sure to check them out and share with families who may benefit from their services.

    Now, I'm tired, so let's get to it 🙂

    Is it just me or are these posts getting later and later?? If you read my post last week, or if you follow me on social media, then you know I spent the weekend with my family at the center for courageous kids. It was a special weekend "camp" just for families affected by congenital heart defects.

    Last week was a total flop meal wise, so you will see a lot of repeaters this week. First up is the upside down pizza casserole we were supposed to have last week. I don't remember what happened, but for whatever reason we ate something else and since I already have the ingredients on hand, I decided we would just have it Monday and Tuesday this week.

    Wednesday, I am making the fish and hush puppies that we were also supposed to have last week. The fish I purchased last week was spoiled when I got it home, so needless to say, we didn't eat it! (insert angry face emoji here)

    The recipe is scheduled to post this coming week, so assuming that we don't bring home any more rotten fish - you can expect to see it soon.

    Another recipe I'm posting soon is the pork tenderloin sandwich I came up with a while back. We will be having it on Thursday so I can *hopefully* get some good photos and get it up on the blog in the coming weeks.

    Friday, I am trying a new to me recipe … creamy slow cooker chicken. I am gonna cross my fingers and pray to the sweet little baby Jesus that it's good - because I need all the slow cooker recipes I can get my hands on!!

    On Saturday we are going full finger food style with chicken wings and zucchini fries. Nothing to say here but yum, yum, yummmm!

    Sunday I'm making the pulled pork that I'd planned on making tonight - but was too tired to get done 🙂

    So that's it!
