If you are a regular visitor, then you may have noticed that the website has gotten a face lift!
I officially launched this blog in December of 2018, just 5 month ago. I didn't have a clue what I was doing. But after years of mulling it over, I finally decided to go for it, and learn as I went.
I figured that outside of a few friends and family members (Hi Dad!), no one would even see what I was posting and I would have plenty of time to get things how I wanted them.
This was a BIG step for me! I am a HUGE perfectionist and usually adopt the motto, that if I can't do it perfectly, I am not even going to try.
With so many, more experienced bloggers out there, how could I hold my own? I was afraid of failing and looking silly - but I went for it anyway!
Flash forward to February, and I exceeded my YEARLY goal for visitors. To say that I have been shocked is an understatement!
This has been one of the most fun and rewarding things that I have ever undertaken and I am kicking myself for letting my fear of failure and of not being 'good enough' stop me for so long.
So, with all that said, I did make some major upgrades to the site which I hope you will enjoy.
Besides the new look and functionality - I also upgraded from using my iphone 5s camera to an actual DSLR. When I started this blog, I said that I wasn't going to upgrade my camera until I made enough money to cover the cost and last month I was able to do that!
So why am I telling you all this?
I promise it's not just to #humblebrag because I still have a L O N G way to go and certainly still don't really know what I am doing with this whole blog thing.
Fair warning I am about to get a little woo woo on you 🙂
When I pushed fear aside and finally started looking at my world from a place of abundance, rather then scarcity - good things happened.
I want you to recognize and believe, that there is a spot at the table for everyone. There is enough success to go around and most importantly realize that perfection is a freaking unicorn! It doesn't exist and you need to stop holding yourself to that standard!
Enough woo woo - let's get to the meal plan, amiright?
Monday and Tuesday are pretty standard around here - crock pot meal on Monday, with leftovers on Tuesday. This week the crock pot meal of choice is a pork roast, with coleslaw as a side.
Wednesday, we are trying a new recipe for chicken carbonara which I will serve over Zoodles *crossing my fingers it's as delicious as it looks!*
I am also excited to try the pepperoni pizza chicken bake because I have heard rave reviews and the pictures look to die for!
Saturday is a big day around here - not only is it Derby Day, but it's also the day we will be celebrating my middle son Trenton's 10th birthday. We are eating dinner out,but he hasn't decided where just yet 🙂
All the recipes for this meal plan can be found on my weekly menu pinterest board by clicking HERE
I change out the recipes every Sunday, so if you aren't reading this in real time, you can search my pinterest for them. If you can't find it, then it probably wasn't a keeper 🙂
